Statement of Faith
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God; it is infallible and superior to conscience and reason. I Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrew 4:12.
We believe in the one true Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, distinct yet three in one, eternally self existent and self-revealed and that Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is through Jesus Christ. Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21.
We believe in the shed Blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. On the cross He took our place and through His death, burial and resurrection we are justified and reconciled unto God.
We are saved by grace through faith. Each man must make his own choice to receive Christ, thus being born again by believing in their heart and confessing with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Romans, 3:24, Ephesians 2:8, John 3:3, Romans 10:9 & 10.
We believe in baptism in water. This command that recognizes our death and resurrection with Christ should be observed by every believer. In being baptized, the believer declares his newness of life. Matthew 28:19 Acts 10:47& 48, Romans 6:4.
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost. This is the promise of the Father, spoken of by Jesus. With this baptism comes the endowment of power for life and service. This wonderful experience is distinct form and subsequent to the experience of new birth. Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9.
We believe in speaking with other tongues. Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2,6; laying hands on the sick and casting out devils. Mark 16:17&18 and that the just shall live by faith. Hebrews 10:38.
We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God and that we are equipped with power and authority in the name of Jesus.
We believe in the 5 fold ministry gifts; apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher. These gifts have been given to the body from Jesus to perfect and mature the Church. Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; 4:7-13.
We believe that Christ will come again to receive the Church to Himself and we will forever be with the Lord. II Thessalonians 2:1.
